The story of Black Belt Bites
Sensei Honk, a goose with a black belt tied around his middle, chopped cereal squares in half in every commercial. The squares had a groove down the middle so kids could do the same. Breakfast tables echoed with tiny battle cries. The box came with a paper belt you colored in after finishing each bowl.
Earning the cardboard black belt took twelve boxes, and most kids promoted themselves after three.
