The story of Rainbow Bloom Oatmeal

Plain oatmeal felt like a punishment, but Rainbow Bloom Oatmeal was a magic trick. The oats looked gray until hot water hit, and then the candy crystals melted into rainbow ribbons. Stirring too fast turned everything brown, so kids moved the spoon with the patience of a surgeon. Patience paid off with a bowl that looked like a sunset.
