The story of Pen Pal Postmarks

Pen Pal Postmarks starred Percy, a pelican mail carrier who stored cereal in his beak and never once delivered it on time. Each box back had a pen pal form, and kids mailed letters to other kids in faraway towns. Some of those friendships lasted for years, all because of a cinnamon cereal and a very slow bird.

Fun fact

Percy's commercials ended with him dropping a mail sack into a lake, and kids wrote real letters asking if he was okay.
