Retsy Series 1 · Card 0110 · 80-BRK
Find the racer. Win the morning.
Tire-shaped honey cereal with a tiny die-cast race car buried somewhere in every box.
The story · 1988
Tilly, a tortoise in a checkered helmet, was the fastest racer on any cereal box. Each box hid one of twelve die-cast cars, and kids dug through the bag with their whole arm to find it first. The tires got crushed in the hunt, so most bowls were half crumbs and pure victory.
The rare gold car showed up in so few boxes that some kids believed it only existed in the commercial.
