The story of Eyeliner Licorice
Eyeliner Licorice came in a slim black case with a tiny mirror inside, which made no sense for licorice and was perfect anyway. The sticks were pencil thin and pitch black, and they tinted your lips a dramatic gray. Kids who played sad songs on repeat ate them by the handful while writing poetry in the margins of their notebooks.
Drawing on your hand with a licorice stick actually left a faint line, which ruined more than a few school shirts.
