The story of Sand Art Sugar Bottle
The Sand Art Sugar Bottle booth had a wall of clear tubs full of neon sour sugar, and choosing colors took longer than any ride. You spooned layers into a little bottle shaped like a star, a dolphin or a guitar, poked swirls with a straw and capped it tight. It looked too pretty to eat for about a day.
Every kid who tipped the bottle sideways in the car instantly turned their masterpiece into one muddy brown stripe.
