The story of Treasure Chest Coins
Treasure Chest Coins arrived when every kid suddenly wanted to talk like a pirate. The little brown plastic chest creaked open on a hinge, revealing a heap of gold foil chocolate coins and one rare silver doubloon. Kids buried the chest in sandboxes, drew maps, forgot the maps and dug up half the playground looking for dessert.
Fun fact
The rare silver coin had a peppermint center, which kids considered either the best prize or a terrible betrayal.
