The story of Gummy Sushi Rolls

Gummy Sushi Rolls showed up when sushi was suddenly in every grocery store cooler. The candy version came in a clear plastic tray with a little grass divider, marshmallow rice, gummy fillings and green fruit leather standing in for seaweed. Kids ate them with real chopsticks at lunch and felt incredibly sophisticated about it.

Fun fact

The green blob in the corner looked like spicy paste but tasted like lime, which surprised every adult who tried it.
