The story · 1993
Murph the raccoon wore a flannel shirt, ripped jeans and a beanie, and he looked tired in every single commercial. He never smiled, he never shouted, he just said the flakes were okay. Somehow that made them the coolest cereal on the shelf. Older kids bought them with their own allowance.
Murph cracked a smile exactly once on the box art, and only if you held the box upside down.
Six finishes
Flannel Flakes comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
