The story of Last Bowl Standoff
Everyone knew the box was almost empty. Nobody said it out loud. Then two kids reached for it at the exact same moment, and the kitchen went silent. Rules were invented on the spot: best of three, oldest goes first, whoever is dressed wins. The winner got half a bowl of crumbs and the victory of the century.
The loser was usually stuck with the grownup cereal, which counted as a punishment in most households.
