Retsy Series 1 · Card 0430 · 90-BRK
Peanut butter and jelly, live on stage.
Peanut butter squares with grape jelly centers, introduced by a saxophone-playing platypus in a beret.
The story · 1994
Riff the platypus wore a beret and a polka-dot bow tie and played saxophone on a little stage made of cereal. Every square had a jelly center that oozed purple into the milk. Kids debated whether it was a sandwich or a cereal, and the box refused to say. Riff just kept playing.
The box came with a punch-out cardboard saxophone that worked as a decent kazoo if you hummed into it.
