The story of Mail-Away Blow-Up Chair
The Mail-Away Blow-Up Chair arrived flat in an envelope after eight weeks of checking the mailbox. Inflating it took two siblings, one dad and most of an afternoon. It squeaked when you sat down, stuck to your legs in summer and slowly sagged every night. Kids still treated it like a throne and charged admission to sit in it.
Every chair developed a tiny leak within a month, and families patched it with whatever tape was in the junk drawer.
