The story of Spin Cart Crepe Cones
The crepe kiosk was the best free show in the mall. A worker poured batter onto a round griddle and spun it flat with a little wooden stick in one smooth swoop. Then came strawberries, bananas, chocolate hazelnut spread and a snowfall of powdered sugar, all folded into a paper cone. You ate it walking, and powdered sugar ended up everywhere.
Kids stood at the counter watching the batter spin for ten minutes, then walked away without ordering, every single weekend.
