The story of Walking Taco Bag
Every school carnival, ball game and fundraiser had a walking taco table. A parent volunteer crushed your bag of corn chips, ripped it open and ladled in chili, shredded cheese, lettuce and sour cream. You ate it with a plastic fork while wandering around. The best part was the soggy chips at the bottom, full of cheese.
Crushing the chips too much made chili soup, so volunteers who knew the perfect crunch were treated like legends.
