The story of Bleach Storm Denim
Bleach Storm jeans looked like they had survived a science experiment, which was exactly the appeal. The more white streaks, the cooler they were. Wearing the full set, jacket and jeans together, was called going stormy, and it took real confidence. They were stiff as cardboard until the fortieth wash.
Pegging the ankles, a tight fold and roll at the hem, was mandatory or the jeans did not count.
