The story of Grapevine Leotard
Grapevine leotards were made for step class, but they showed up at the grocery store, slumber parties and the school talent show. The set came with a stretchy belt, a terrycloth headband and tights in a clashing color. Moms wore them to the living room workout tape, and kids copied every move from the couch.
The fabric was so shiny that one camp counselor used her leotard to signal a rescue boat, mostly as a joke.
