The story of Twelve-Button Pencil Box
This pencil box was basically a spaceship for school supplies. Button one popped the sharpener, button two slid out a drawer, and button nine opened a compartment nobody ever found a use for. The thermometer on the lid was always wrong. Kids pressed every button during quiet time, creating a symphony of clicks.
One version had a magnifying glass that, held correctly, made the classroom turtle look gigantic.
