The story of Triple Strap Skyhighs
Skyhighs had a tongue so puffy it flopped like a golden retriever ear, and three straps that ripped open with a sound you could hear across the cafeteria. Nobody tied shoes anymore. A tiny cloud logo sat on the ankle, and kids drew lightning bolts next to it with ballpoint pens.
Ripping all three straps open at once during silent reading was considered the bravest act of the school year.
