The story of Backward Print Iron-Ons
Iron-on transfer paper turned the family inkjet into a t-shirt factory. Kids printed their pets, their band names and their best pal's face for birthday gifts, then begged a parent to do the ironing. The design came out a little shiny and a little cracked. If you forgot to flip the image first, your shirt proudly said everything backward.
Every family reunion had at least one shirt with a giant cousin face on it, slowly peeling after the first wash.
