The story of Do Not Erase Memory Card
The Do Not Erase memory card was tiny, gray and worth more than gold. It held a hundred hours of progress across a dozen games, all crammed into eight megabytes. Lending it to a cousin was an act of deep trust. Somebody somewhere once pressed erase all by accident, and every kid has felt that phantom chill ever since.
Kids decorated theirs with stickers and nail polish so nobody could ever claim to have grabbed it by mistake.
