The story of Peekaboo Clamshell
The Peekaboo's best feature was its little outside screen. When it rang, the caller's name glowed through the pearly shell, so you could decide whether to answer or let it buzz. Inside were candy-colored keys that lit up blue and a camera that took photos about as sharp as a thumbprint. Moms calling during the movie got the buzz treatment.
Teens spent hours picking a tiny wallpaper for the outside screen, even though it was only the size of a stick of gum.
