The story of Twelve-Tip Charger
Every junk drawer had a Twelve-Tip Charger tangled up with old batteries and takeout menus. The idea was genius: one cord, a dozen tips for every phone, camera and music player in the house. In reality, tip number seven was always the one you needed and the one that was missing. Families eventually just bought the right charger anyway.
Fun fact
Somebody in every household refused to throw out a single tip, convinced the mystery gadget would turn up someday.
