The story of Shadetunes MP3 Shades
Shadetunes promised the coolest summer ever. The chunky round frames had tiny speakers built into the arms, and a little MP3 player hung from a cord around your neck. Everyone within ten feet heard your music, whether they wanted to or not. They were heavy, they slid down your nose, and the speakers buzzed on every high note.
Fun fact
Wearing them indoors was considered extremely cool for one summer and extremely not cool by the next.
