Every kid had a plan for the perfect constellation, and every kid ended up with a lumpy smiley face instead. The stars glowed bright green for about twenty minutes after lights out, then faded slowly as you drifted off. Peeling them off years later took the paint with them, every time.
Fun fact
Charging the stars with a flashlight right before bed was a nightly ritual that drove little brothers absolutely wild.
