The story of Not Even Grape
Nobody knew where it started, but by spring every kid in the district said it. Asked to trade your pudding cup? Not even grape. Asked to do extra homework? Not even grape. Teachers tried banning it, which only made it louder, and a few brave dads started using it at the dinner table.
The rare follow-up, not even purple grape, meant you would never ever change your mind, not even for a birthday.
