The story of Beepkeeper Answerbox
Recording the Beepkeeper greeting was a family event. Someone always laughed, someone always talked too early, and the dog barked on take seven. The tiny tape inside held your messages, unless your little brother taped over them with his own fake radio show. Coming home to a blinking red light felt like opening a present.
Kids who called home just to hear their own voice on the greeting were the reason the tape always wore out first.
