The story of Jogwave Pocket Deck
Jogwave pitched it to joggers, but mostly it rode school buses. The foam earpads came in a color best described as tennis ball, and they crumbled by spring. Pressing play and record together let you tape the radio, so every kid owned a cassette full of songs missing their first three seconds.
A pencil jammed in the spool hole rewound tapes faster than the button and saved precious double-A batteries.
