The story of Rewindo Blinker VCR

The Rewindo had a spring-loaded tape bay that rose like a drawbridge and a wired remote with eight fat buttons. It could tape a show while you were at practice, in theory. In practice, it flashed 12:00 for six straight years, and Dad said he was waiting for a free weekend to read the manual.

Fun fact

The clock-setting chapter of the manual was 41 pages long and starred a cartoon owl who looked as confused as everyone else.
