The story of Rewind Racer

Every video store begged you to rewind, and the Rewind Racer made it a thrill. Pop the hood, drop in a tape, and it whirred twice as fast as the VCR. When it finished, the doors flew open with a thunk that made everybody jump. Some kids rewound tapes they had already rewound, just to hear it again.

Fun fact

Its headlights glowed while it worked, so in a dark room it looked like a tiny car racing nowhere very fast.
