The story of Wristcruncher 8
Wristcruncher owners pressed the buttons with pencil erasers because fingers were too wide. Teachers argued it was cheating, kids argued it was jewelry, and the principal ruled it could stay if the beeping stopped. It never stopped. At exactly 7:00 every evening, a hundred wrists across town chirped in unison.
The stopwatch mode timed exactly how long the lunch line took, and the school record was nineteen minutes on pizza day.
