The story of Hot Dog Hotline
The Hot Dog Hotline turned any bedroom into a lunch counter. When it rang, the mustard stripe lit up yellow, and picking up the frank to say hello felt ridiculous every single time. Teens kept it for years because the bun base was impossible to knock over, even during the most dramatic phone calls.
At least one dog per neighborhood tried to steal the receiver, which was understandable but very bad for the cord.
