Each gem looked innocent until you bit down and a burst of popping candy crackled across your tongue. Kids argued forever about whether to chew slowly or crunch all at once. The blue ones were the sourest, the purple ones crackled the loudest, and the green ones got traded to whoever was most desperate.
Holding a gem up to your ear supposedly let you hear it crackle before you bit it.
Six finishes
Crackle Gem Fruit Snacks comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
