Retsy Series 1 · Card 0380 · 90-SNK
It's always snack time somewhere.
A chunky digital watch with a cartoon gator face that flipped open, from a Burger Bayou kids' meal.
The story · 1994
Bayou Burt the gator smiled up from the watch face, and when you pressed his nose, his jaw flipped open to show the time in blocky green numbers. The band was neon rubber and always too tight. The battery died within a week, but kids kept wearing it anyway, mostly so they could keep pressing his nose.
The alarm played a tinny little tune so loud that one teacher confiscated an entire drawer of them.
