The story of Jigsaw Jellies
Every pouch of Jigsaw Jellies held enough pieces to build one small square picture, if you could keep from eating them first. Some kids built the whole thing on their desk and admired it. Most got three pieces in and ate the rest. The edge pieces were always cherry, which felt like an important clue.
Kids who claimed to finish every puzzle usually just mashed random pieces together and called it modern art.
