The story of Latchkey Nacho Plate
You had the house key on a shoelace around your neck, the cartoons were starting, and you had exactly one job: make nachos. Chips on a paper plate, shredded cheese on top, ninety seconds in the microwave. The cheese welded the chips into one giant raft. You ate it in front of the TV and hid the plate before anyone got home.
Adding a squirt of ketchup was considered a bold culinary experiment, and it was almost always regretted.
