The story of Zero-Fat Jelly Pucks
When fat-free was the hottest label in the grocery store, Jelly Pucks rode the wave in a sunny yellow box covered in pink polka dots. The logic at home was simple: zero fat meant the whole box counted as one serving. They were spongy, sweet and strangely bouncy, and kids swore you could skip one across the kitchen floor.
Kids learned the hard way that zero fat did not mean zero stomachache, usually somewhere around cookie number twenty.
