The story of Fry Squad Skaters
Burger Bayou's Fry Squad ruled the summer. Each fry had a mohawk, kneepads and a tiny skateboard with real spinning wheels, and you pushed them off the edge of the booth to land tricks. Kickflip Kenny was easy to get. Grindrail Gina was not. Moms got dragged back to the drive-thru three times a week.
The ramp printed on the back of the kids' meal bag could be folded into a real working half-pipe.
