The story of Glowtube Sugar

Glowtube Sugar was the candy version of the glow necklaces everybody wore at night skate. The tubes came in neon pink, lime and electric blue, and you tipped your head back and poured the sour powder straight in. The best kids could empty a whole tube without coughing. Everyone else spent the rest of the song sneezing.

Fun fact

Empty tubes made decent slide whistles if you blew across the top, which annoyed every parent equally.
