The story of Tubular Taffy

Tubular Taffy came in five neon flavors with names like Wave Rider Grape and Surf Shack Lime. The plunger at the bottom only went one way, so once you pushed it, you were committed. Kids wore the empty tubes as bracelets, hummed through them like kazoos, and filled them with sand at the beach until a lifeguard yelled.

Fun fact

Leaving one on the car dashboard in July created a substance that scientists still have not named.
