The story of Mixtape Mints
Mixtape Mints looked exactly like a blank tape, so they were the perfect thing to slide across a desk to your crush. The case snapped open on its hinge and the two halves held two flavors, with a paper insert you could write on. Half the fun was inventing a fake tracklist of love songs for your mints.
Kids who wound the empty case with a pencil like a real tape were basically required to say rewind out loud.
