The story of Gulp & Gnaw Bottles
Gulp & Gnaw came in a cardboard six-pack sleeve that made you feel like a grown-up at the soda fountain. You bit the cap off, tipped back about one teaspoon of syrup, then gnawed the wax for the rest of recess. Nobody liked the wax. Everybody chewed it anyway, because quitting felt like losing.
The blue bottle tasted like no fruit known to science, and kids argued about what it was for the entire decade.
