The story of Pucker Twist Lipsticks

Pucker Twist Lipsticks were the most grown-up thing you could buy with a quarter. The candy twisted up from a shiny gold tube, and you put it on in the bathroom mirror like your aunt before a party. It stained your lips cherry red for hours, which was the whole point, and also made you look like you ate a crayon.

Fun fact

The grape flavor turned lips purple for a full day, which led to at least one very confused school nurse.
