The story of Softball Jawbreaker

The Softball Jawbreaker was too big for any mouth, so you licked it like a planet. Kids kept theirs in a plastic baggie in the freezer between sessions and cracked them open with a hammer when patience ran out. The layers went pink, blue, white and yellow, and every kid swore the center hid a secret prize color.

Fun fact

Licking one down to the center was rumored to take a full year, but no kid ever stuck with it long enough to prove it.
