The story of Gossip Gums

Gossip Gums were the funniest thing in the novelty shop, and every kid had to wind a pair up and set it loose on the counter. They clacked, hopped and marched right off the edge if nobody caught them. They showed up in lunchboxes, cereal bowls and occasionally inside Dad's slippers.

Fun fact

Winding them backward made them chatter in reverse, which kids insisted sounded like a secret language.
