The story · 1983
Pull the string on his back and Grumpa Gus complained about something: the weather, the thermostat, kids these days. There were twelve phrases, and every family had a favorite. His voice slowed down as the string wore out, which somehow made him even funnier. Real grandpas loved him most of all.
His most famous line was 'Who touched the thermostat?' and plenty of households adopted it as a family motto.
Six finishes
Grumpa Gus comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
