Retsy Series 1 · Card 0470 · 90-TVV
Turn the page. Then turn another.
A gentle reading show where a bespectacled lizard puppet read picture books aloud in a treehouse library.
The story · 1994
Professor Scales wore tiny round spectacles and read one picture book per episode, turning pages with his tail. Kids mailed in book reviews written in crayon, and he read three on air every Friday. Libraries saw lines of kids asking for whatever book the Lizard had just finished.
The lizard's tail was worked by a second puppeteer lying flat on the floor behind the bookshelf.
Six finishes
