The story of Yelling Barry's Car Ad

Barry Duncan stood on the hood of a minivan and shouted his prices so loudly the camera shook. Every ad ended with him rolling a bowling ball through a paper banner for no clear reason. Kids did Barry impressions at recess, and the whole town knew his phone number jingle better than their own address.

Barry lost his voice during one taping, so that ad featured him silently holding up hand-drawn signs.
