Retsy Series 1 · Card 0474 · 90-TVV
Your show is coming. Eventually.
The cable listings channel that scrolled the schedule so slowly you could finish a sandwich before your show appeared.
The story · 1995
The guide channel scrolled one row at a time over smooth jazz, and if you missed your channel, you waited for the whole list to come around again. The top half played previews nobody asked for. Somehow, whole families sat silently watching it, waiting for Channel 32 like it was a rocket launch.
The smooth jazz loop repeated every eleven minutes, and some viewers swear they still hum it in their sleep.
Six finishes
The Slow Scroll Channel comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
90-TVV
The Slow Scroll Channel is one of 32 cards in the 90s TV & Video set. Here are the other 31.
