Retsy Series 1 · Card 0494 · 90-MEM
Cross your eyes. Relax. Wait. WAIT.
Mall posters of dizzy repeating patterns that supposedly hid a 3D dolphin if you stared at them correctly.
The story · 1994
A crowd always gathered at the poster cart, every head tilted, every face squinting. Some people saw the leaping dolphin instantly. Others stared for twenty minutes and saw only zigzags. The ones who never saw it claimed it was all a big trick, but the ones who did never shut up about it.
The trick was to look through the poster like a window, which is the opposite of how anyone looked at anything else.
Six finishes
Hidden Dolphin Poster comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
