The story of Paper Football Finals
Paper Football Finals happened daily at the back of every cafeteria. You folded notebook paper into a tight triangle, slid it across the table and scored if it hung over the edge. Field goals went through a classmate's thumbs-and-fingers goalpost. Lunch aides confiscated the footballs, and kids folded new ones from napkins before the aides turned around.
The ultimate trick shot was flicking the football into an open milk carton across the table, attempted often and achieved almost never.
